Playing the lottery? Might as well burn a dollar bill and hope the carbon remnants turn into a diamond. Why not give directly, the odds are better.

I’m the same way. I’m not a gambler but if God gives me a sign to play, I’ll play and do some real good with the money along the way.

I love the idea, Sodpoodle. I have thought of it myself. If I won the big lottery, I just think it would be cool to write out a cashier’s check to FR in the full amount for the freepathon. Jim could stick the money in reserve for a rainy FReeper day or use it for the quarter. I think I would get more joy out of it than him.
