Security camera footage from a well-known gay bar has played a key role in a hit-and-run investigation of a former Houston City Councilman, who is now a conservative talk show host, Local 2 Investigates reported on Wednesday.
A Houston man reported to police that KTRH talk show host Michael Berry plowed his SUV into another car outside T.C.'s Show Baron Converse near Fairview in the Montrose area about 11 p.m. on January 31st.
Tuderia Bennett, of Galena Park, told Houston police that he was working as a bouncer at the front door during a popular cross-dressing 'drag show' that was going on inside the club. He watched the crash happen and told police he rushed up to the car after impact and got a good look at Berry behind the wheel.
"I said, 'That's definitely the guy.' For sure, 100 percent," said Bennett.

But if I recall that’s the way they crucified Jon Matthews, and I think the end result of others assumptions was just a lucky guess...
You just never know with some people and how they jump to conclusions, that was not what I meant...The comparison was only because they were both on conservative talk radio, and in the Houston market...
Pesonally, I think the whole incident is hogwash...Just a splinter group trying to oust a considerable force againt their liberal progressive agenda...And they want to see him discreditied, just in time for the campaigns to kick into high gear...
This was our local Houston news. I saw it last night. I have been in a gay bar and watched a drag queen show and I have been other places that are not my usual hangouts wink wink. MB says it will all come out in the wash and I believe him.

Should have left note to vehicle owner that he hit their vehicle and that he will make it right.

Any names available as to who his enemies are? Just curious and rubber necking... I do like when Shirley Q. Liquor calls his program. I'd go see him/her at a gay bar on drag night or any night. I'd go see him/her and so would my husband and probably lol all the way home. I am not gay ("not that anything is wrong with it") and husband of many loving years shows no inclination. But, this is just kind of weird coming about for Michael Berry. I'd expect a answer to the questions or an explanation, at the very least. He seems pretty straight (no pun intended) forward on his shows. Maybe Michael Berry wears t-shirts for both teams. I'm more inclined to believe nothing is as what it seems right now but I've been fooled many a time. Makes no difference..."gay is okay" as some do say!

I like Michael Berry and agree with almost everything he says. He’s very anti-Romney which is a plus. He’s usually in favor of whichever non-Romney is winning, Newt and then Santorum.
I don’t care that he was in a gay bar - it’s no one’s business. I also agreed with his commentary that Republicans focus too much on gays, at their own peril.
I had no idea what he looked like so I looked up his pic to see if he had gay-face. Have to admit he is kind of perty looking... Still, I don’t care that he was in a gay bar.
Standing up for MB here. I love to listen to his show, he’s better than Limbaugh and Hannity rolled up and stuffed into a Frito chili pie.

Cripes, me too. It is a long story, but I'm a mountain biker and we do weird stuff sometimes. My bike club used to do something called "The Tour de Smut" and, accompanied by a couple of DPD cops, we went to a place called I think The Blue Goose one Saturday night. The MC was Whitney something. It was fun until my bud and I realized the rest of the crew had split and we were sitting there by the stage without backup. Purty much ran for the door at that point. The rest of our group still laughs about that, the bastids set us up. Saw a couple of cute chicks in evening gowns. Or, so we thought, until we saw their backs. Them were mans, baby.
