Anybody having a problem with ad.doubleclick redirecting to an error page. I was having this problem on Hotair and now it is on the Daily Caller. Ran spybot and malewarebytes to no avail. I can get to the home page but when I click on article it redirects to a error page saying internet explorer cannot display the webpage. Any ideas out there?
Thanks

doesn’t specifically prevent your problem but it blocks the ad sites that usually cause that problem.
Plus: no ads!
Pages are so much easier to read without the ads that sites pay all that money to their web gurus to mess up their pages with.
Just block the whole domain. That's what I do.
So your solution to a simple software issue is to drop thousands of dollars on a new computer? That makes a lot of sense.
As the ultimate fix to the problem of windows viruses, yes. Or run Opem Solaris or Linux, or upgrade to Windows 7 at the least. I
Pragmatic, not just pimping Apple. I happen to know a lot about this stuff.
So do I, and a Win7 upgrade costs a hell of a lot less than a new Mac. And if someone is having minor virus issues like this (potentially), they likely don’t have the know-how to run Solaris or Linux.
Cool. That’s right, but I’m just teaching what I know from experience. No arguments here.
Hard to fix a computer when it is not in front of you so I can only suggest things to try.
1st I would get rid of the cookies I did not need actualy you could dump them all the worst that would happen is you would need to resign in at websites you frequent.
2nd I would addon Ghostery and Browser Protect to my browser and they will stop this crap from getting on your computer to start with!
3rd get this read their website it will take you step by step in making a rescue disc.

4th Go here and read about Linux it easy to install or you can run it live. Most of the work I do on computers now is setting up dual boot systems Windows and Linux usally after awhile people call and ask me to remove Windows all together but I advise to just leave it it doenst hurt to have if you need it!
Maybe you do. Maybe not. On the internet nobody knows.....
But MacHeads with attitude who show up on PC threads are fair targets of abuse - flame and derision.
Don’t ZOT me, bro. :)
Cygwin to the rescue...
