Livestock are personal property, what one does with his/her personal property is up to them. And you can put a dog box anywhere you wish, when they put them in a planes cargo compartment they die should the plane lose cabin pressure. I would think cruelty to a dog would be hauling it around in a hot car , why do you think they have a fur coat???

Romney did not put his dog in the cargo department of an airplane.

He tried his dog’s crate to the roof of his car.

Was that in the best interests of the dog? Clearly not. The dog left objective evidence that it was afraid.

A healthy dog will not defecate in a moving car while it is in the interior of the car.

Romney failed one of the most basic tests of conservatism—care and concern for what God has placed in his care.

Those who are cruel to a dog or a horse or a cat or any animal that God has placed in that individual’s care will almost certainly have no regard for the dignity of their fellow man, and certainly will not fear God.
