Doing research for my book project, I came across an article about aneorexics on the web and how they have their own forums etc dedicated to achieving the very look of the woman in that post.
And how they are fighting any inference that the cadaverous ‘look’ is somehow not perfection itself. They are encouraged by ‘mental help professionals’ since that’s their ‘self image’.
All kidding aside, the SI model needs a sammich herself, but the walking corpse beach women posted need a shrink. Then again, if they want to starve themselves in the name of ‘beauty’ and die from it, well.... see above.
Every Yoplait commercial shows a woman concentration-camp thin talking about how she has to replace meals with Yoplait. The spelling bee teacher with the “swapportunity” bit is particularly frightening...when the camera does the closeup her head looks like a whitened skull with insane googly golf balls for eyes, babbling about how a Yoplait is an opportunity to avoid real food. Freakish and horrific.
