Two days before her death, Whitney Houston gave what would be her final performance at a Hollywood nightclub, surrounded by friends and family.

The 48-year-old music legend was at the "Kelly Price & Friends Unplugged: For The Love Of R&B Grammy Party" at Tru Hollywood nightclub on Thursday, February 9. Kelly Price called Houston up on stage and the pair sang a duet of "Yes, Jesus Loves Me" before Houston blew kisses to the crowd and walked off stage.

"I invited a bunch of friends, Whitney Houston among them. ... All of my friends came out. They performed. They performed for free. It was an amazing night. My band was there. It ended up being an all-out jam session," Price told MTV News at a pre-Grammy brunch on Saturday morning. "I wasn't expecting Whitney to take the stage, but she came up. She got on the stage, and while I was talking to her, she grabbed the microphone and started singing. So that's kind of cool."

Houston arrived at the party in a Cadillac Escalade, two hours after it had begun, wearing a snug black cocktail dress.

Her daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, 18, attended the party and walked the red carpet with her mother.

Inside the club, Houston was said to be in good spirits and danced from her spot in the club's VIP area, according to People magazine.

Did she also perform, “But he’s pissed off at me snorting cocaine”, too?

Only God could have given Whitney her amazing talent. And only God could turn the Grammys into a wake. (Instead of the festival of the ego it usually is.)

KFI AM says she walked into the party looking fine and well. But she was helped out, looking disheveled, with a bleeding leg, and scratched up arm. Last time she was seen in public. Found in the BH hotel bathtub yesterday.

And today he 18 year old daughter was taken out of the hotel on a stretcher to the hospital.

When my grandmother was reaching the end of her life, had lost most of her faculties, was blind, had lost the ability to speak, she could still hum the alto to Jesus Loves Me, when my mother would play it on the piano.

It is said that Music is one of the last senses to go, and reverting to the first song that you ever learned is not surprising. Wasn’t Whitney Huston’s father a minister? I hear her last days were a blur of mental confusion, so....

The smokes did her in -

During rehearsal for a pre-Grammy event Thursday, Houston appeared disheveled, sweated profusely and her breath smelled of liquor and cigarettes, said a source who was present but not authorized to speak publicly.

That simple little song has helped me through some bad times.
I don't know if it is because our moms and dads took us to church and that song was sung so frequently, but I feel God's love when I sing that song.
I have worked with very young children in daycares most of my life and I sang that song pretty much every day to let them know of God's love.
What a gift that song was for us.

Crack is whack.

I'm going to take a guess at what happened. Whitney realized she was 48, her singing career and entertainment was mostly behind her, the people who tolerated her diva episodes were becoming less tolerant. She was 48 with no husband, and the kind of exciting guys who were thrilled to date her when she was in her twenties and thirties lost interest in her forties. Her money was likely mostly pissed away, and she didn't see a future that seemed worth living.

The first song I learned was Jerry Lee Lewis "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On", so whoever shows up at my deathbed is in for a surprise.

My question - how much of Whitney’s drug and alcohol troubles began PRE-Bobbie-thug-Brown...?

It really is a crying shame that she fell so far... then died at a young age.
