Would love to hear what creative stuff my Freeper friends are doing...esp. the NY and NE food representations. We served clam chowder along with bagels and lox back in 2008...

Just turn it off during the halftime show so they don’t all puke.

Went to the Food Network website....they have an entire section dedicated to SuperBowl favorites by Emeril, Paula Dean, Alton Brown, etc.....

Chose several variations of some longtime favorites such as Nachos, Guacamole dip, different cheese dips, wings, sliders.....

For the main course at half time, 4 slabs of baby back ribs...

Beer and various other adult beverages ready to go....

My own bourbon-basted, smoked lox on toast with cream cheese and a dash of wassabi served with deep frozen Finland vodka.

No one will care for the final score — either winners or losers will be equally happy.

Wings, Cajun sliders, veggie tray, marinated mozzarella cheese, spinach artichoke dip w/peta chips, carrot cake and chocolate cupcakes. I'm sure that I left something out. Don't care who wins.

I’m not having a superbowl party. The last time I went to a superbowl party was in Germany in 1986, when we had one in the officer’s club. I won’t even be watching the superbowel Sunday night.

Well, it's just Mr. Rightfield and me ... and I don't want to cook.

So, we're having taco chips, bean dip and guacamole, and getting burrito bols from Chipotle. Assorted adult beverages to wash it all down. Very little prep and almost no cleanup.

And we're switching channels during the Madonna performance.
