Mormons should be careful about what they hope for. Mitt Romney getting the Republican nomination will result in the nation getting a crash course in Mormonism. Unlike the propaganda coming from SLC, this will be the unvarnished truth of Mormonism which is not pretty. The PR campaign started months ago with their “I’m a Mormon” TV ads and billboards. To say that wasn’t a coordinated effort with the Romney crowd would be disingenuous.
I think you are spot-on. If Romney gets the nomination, it will be their worst nightmare. You can bet that Obama, the Democrat party, and the MSM already have a well-laid out plan of attack — and they won’t even have to lie or use half-truths, the truth is so bizarre that it will be decimating to that church.
