Yes, and remember, it’s not as if we are not hearing about girlfriends because he married his high school or college sweetheart, so there just weren’t a lot of lovers before Michelle. He didn’t get married until 1992, so he was past 30 years old at that time. I’m also not going to buy that he remained celibate out of some religious obligation, since his religious upbringing was either Unitarian or Muslim, neither of which is known for raising celibate males.

What are the other possibilities? Was he unattractive to women? I doubt it. He’s tall, women seem to find him at least somewhat handsome, an athlete, a world traveler, and can be a “smooth talker” when he wants to be. All of these qualities, even before he got his law degree, should have made him garner the attention of a good number of ladies, especially when he was living on the South Side of Chicago where marriagable black men without criminal records are at a premium. Once he had a Harvard law degree in his pocket, forget about it!

I think the only reasonable explanations are that he is either asexual or homosexual. What else could it be?
