IF.....you really want a .45 for concealed carry, look no further than the latest Glock 30. Fantastic handgun.
Virtually no recoil. Not many people are big enough to adequately conceal a 1911; way too damned big. Like a previous poster here, 1911’s are far too large for my hand (I have stubby fingers; what can I say....), but the Glock 30 fits my hand perfectly.
Went to buy a 30. Ended up with a KAHR PM45. Much smaller. Without a doubt a very good concealable .45.
I liked mine so much, when an OD #30 became available locally, I snagged it for my wife. Then the damn canoe flipped...
