I got this in my email this morning and was struck by how relevant it remains even today.
It may be a clever fakery but it's still pretty good.

How's he ginning up traffic? There's no link.
There is some blog-pimping going on around here. Lately it's been "College Conservative" which shows up in about 10 posts a day by the same person, but this doesn't seem to fit that bill.
