Rubio’s gone turncoat on us. He thinks Romney is going to win and wants us to get behind him.
To: Steelfish
I think Rubio wants to be the VP pick on Romney’s ticket.

Thought he had a future in this party and I’m starting to feel he’s only out there for himself.

I am so tired of hearing this crap.
After FL someone (the so called leader) will have about 50 delegates and you need over 1100 to win - over - baloney.

This election cycle has exposed so many closet RINOs and self serving politicians.

This is beginning to remind me of the beginning of the movie “Quantum of Solace”.

Rubio is Florida centric.
America is bigger than that.

Rubio has chosen sides. The wrong one.

Whew! For a minute I thought I might have to go cast my vote later this year in New Mexico. Glad to hear I wont have to bother. /sarc

They wish to deny the rest of the country a voice in the primary.
It’s another good reason why Mitt cannot win in November.
Pure arrogance.

If Gingrich wins, it will turn the tables on these folks...but if Gingrich just keeps it close, and I believe he will, then there is an excellent opportunity to re-emerge into leadership on Super-Tuesday.
Gingrich needs to be preparing for that now...and I am sure he is. And this includes getting Santorum to climb on board before super Tuesday and endorse Newt.
We’ll see what happens today.

This is nuts...and, a Rubio DC staffer had no idea he'd even said this. All she could say was (standard BS) "Sen. Rubio hasn't endorsed anyone". After I explained that this was indeed an endorsement of the establishment buy out of FL, she asked where I'd seen it. I told her it's front and center on many news outlets. Sheeesh.
Rubio, you can keep your campaign propaganda that you mail out, constantly..
No Thanks!

He may be correct but it depends on the margin
If Romney wins by say 10 or more points then the money will flow even more his way and Newt will have to fight to be relevant. Romney will also get a lot of good press for winning with a decent margin. Next debate isnt until end of Feb so it will be hard for Newt to get a good news cycle if this happens.
If it is close with a ROmney win but say 5 or under then Newt will be in a far better position to battle it out.
Of course this assumes no big game changer emerges
