My choice:
Somewhere in Time (1980)
Christopher Reeves, Jane Seymour

Elegant in both astounding scenery and its hauntingly beautiful score, it is cinematic poetry.

This story of time travel and undying love is superbly brought together through great direction, casting and unforgettabe the soundtrack. (18th variation of Rachmaninoff’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini)

Fans from all over the world gather at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island (the movie’s setting) annually to celebrate their love of this charmingly romantic movie.

Dang how on earth could I forget Somewhere in Time. When I was married & we were living in NC in the 80s EVERY weekend my husband would ask, well, is it going to be Superman or Somewhere in Time (yes, I had a huge crush on Christopher Reeve)

That is a beautifully done movie & the setting amazing. Love Jane Seymore & the music.. ah..
