Shadowlands.

Starring Anthony Hopkins and Debra Winger. Amazing story of C.S. Lewis and it’s a tear jerker.

Interesting. I never heard of it. But I will keep my eye out for it. I love getting recommendations from FREEPERS. They usually very good except for that terrible “The American Carol” which is the worst movie I ever saw in my life. Other than that, FREEPERS really have great tastes.

I’m a huge fan of Lewis, am well aware of his late in life marriage and I truly hated that movie. ‘Course, I hated War Horse and a lot of people liked it...

Try watching Shadowlands with Joss Ackland as Lewis. I really think Ackland’s own life connects with the role perfectly.

I had forgotten about Shadowlands..It is a wonderful movie and I am such a fan of CS Lewis.. Good recommendation.

I also recall Pearl Harbor(the most recent one). Yes, it is a war story but woven into many other stories & a sweet love story among them

A note.. women & men will have entirely different ideas on what makes or breaks a movie to be a love story. Men, If they dislike one of the men in the movie, they will nix it overall.
