II Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
Perfect post.
I have had this printed out and displayed close to my desk and have often thought how true this is.
So many fit this description, so many “friends” and family members; sometimes even I fit some of these descriptions, but I pray to God for help in becoming a better person.
It’s difficult to know how to deal with family members and friends...do you “turn away” as commanded, or do we try to sway?
Interesting times...
