Some think Sarah’s statement in S. Carolina that if she were a South Carolinian, she’d vote Newt may have helped him to his victory there. This new “endorsement” might turn the tide against Romney in Florida.

I believe Sarah Palin should go third party if Romney is the nominee, the ultimate “rage against the machine!”

Obama, against the republican house and potentially a repub senate, will rumble along and make about as much headway as the Chevy Volt on a single charge.

It may be my finely tuned get rid of the GOP-E ears but what I hear Sarah saying is:

Newt is the best candidate
• We need the forums to truly vet the candidates
• Voter will see through the Mittiot
• Santorum and Pauls arguments are necessary
• Dont allow the MSM/GOP-E to tell you $H
I wish she would have concluded when the appropriate time for Santorum to exit was.
I'm sure she understands the Pauliban tactic.

My transcription of the dialog:

At the 8:40 mark:

Pirro: Geoff Cambell ask "Which candidate has the best chance of beating Obama?"

Palin: Well I would answer "Which candidate, who, is most passionate about the sudden and relentless reform that's needed."
"Which candidate understands that government is not the answer"; not on the state level, say when it comes to mandating what level of healthcare you must purchase or on a national level.
And I think that comes down to who can articulate their ideas, their solutions best. And in a campaign where you articulate that is in a debate.
And I've appreciated, again, Newt Gingrich's, his, can, his, uh, style in debates, his um, his, his thinking, his, his way of explaining what is it that he stands for.
So I think that, in a debate, Newt Gingrich would clobber Barrak Obama.
And that's one step closer to the voters being able to have a tool to makeup their minds wheather it should be Barrak Obama or the GOP nominee.

Pirro: Sounds like an endorsement to me Governor. Did you just endorse Newt Gingrich?

Palin: I've said, for many weeks now, I want to continue the process of the vetting…and in order to do that…The math…

Pirro: But you said he's the one who has the best chance of beating Obama.

Palin: Because the math is the math and the math is showing us…

Pirro: The math is that Obama, The math is that Mitt Romney is the strongest against Obama and even Santorum beats Newt in terms of the math.

Palin: And that's at this point without the vetting process continuing and without the, the debates continuing which I would like to see.
The math is the math, and the math shows us today that Romney and Newt are very close.
Now it says the pundits are telling us, those elites who want, the better of us, who want us to just obey them and listen to them, they who want to shut this down. If their telling us that…

Pirro: Alright, up against a hardbreak…
