Some think Sarah’s statement in S. Carolina that if she were a South Carolinian, she’d vote Newt may have helped him to his victory there. This new “endorsement” might turn the tide against Romney in Florida.
Sarah, it will still annoy a lib to vote for Santorum.
yitbos
I subscribe to her ascriptions.
I wish she would come on down to Florida and energize the voters since we are getting non stop 99.9% negative ads against Newt. They keep saying on the local news, people feel comfortable about Romney going up against Obama. So untrue, when he is only staying at 25% support from the republicans. He will be creamed by Obama. If she could come to Orlando and or Jax.
It won’t annoy Mitt, though. He’ll thank you.
Do you honestly not understand that a vote for Santorum in Florida is a vote for Romney?
Honestly?
Santorumites don’t get it. They’re as blind for Santorum as Santorum is for himself. They don’t care.
I believe Sarah Palin should go third party if Romney is the nominee, the ultimate “rage against the machine!”
Obama, against the republican house and potentially a repub senate, will rumble along and make about as much headway as the Chevy Volt on a single charge.
I think she’s on to something, if for anything else annoy a liberal
Yeah, true that. But she doesn't have much time to think through what she's saying, and the thought process started out as voting against the insider's choice (which is Romney), and instead vote for the guy who has the insiders (of both parties) in his crosshairs. The "machine" isn't railing against Santorum with the same intensity that it has applied against Newt.
We don't know that yet. The best outcome would be Mitt in 3rd place, or worse.
As has been said a bazillion times hers - very dumb idea.
Santorum supporters are similar to Paul supporters (and even the Nader loons) - nothing else matters if their guy doesn’t get in.
Needs repeating over and over again.
The "establishment" of both parties is a political crime syndicate with the prime purpose of skimming the national treasury and secondary purpose, to govern in such a way as to legislate out serious opposition and keep itself in power.

Honestly. In SC, a vote for Santorum was a vote for Santorum. Period. It didn’t hurt or come from Newt’s votes. Honestly. And Santorum was polling 11% and won 17%. He’s polling 12% now but has been rising.
I’ll give you that. Heat does have every insider in his crosshairs. And I giggle at that too.
However, part of me admits to being scared at newt’s motivations for the same. Is it real conservative beliefs that have him striding to his own beat among washingtonians, or is it the “I’ll show all those kids who mocked me how great I am” puerile attitude? I do worry that with such a proven selfish narcissistic man, it’s the latter.
Santorum would still naturally shake up the RINOs too.
I read parts of the 1996 or 1997 Congressional record, where the House voted on the charges against him. I think he's sincere, and that his brand of federal government was then and is now anathema to the powers that be. "All those jids who mocked me" are in it for their own piece of the federal pie; and it's my sens that he want to make the federal pie smaller - they ALL lose something.

He has fewer of them in his crosshairs. Plus, he was a Senator, adn I find Senators to be the worst of the bunch "up there." DeMint is the only one who seems to stick firm to conservative principles; Coburn used to, but appears, to me, to be softening in his opposition; Sessions is a good man - I think I'd put him "above" Coburn in the scale. The rest of them are bystanders at best; and some, like McCain, Collins, Snowe (well, you know the drill) ought to just up and join the Democrats.
January 21, 1997 Congressional Record
Mr. CARDIN (of Maryland): [Gingrich] had a vision to launch a political movement to change the country, in his words, from a welfare state to an opportunity society. ...When GOPAC ran short of funds, Mr. Gingrich sought contributions from several tax exempt entities in order to continue his partisan political crusade.

Looking toward the 21st Century, Respondent developed an approach which he referred to as the `five pillars' of renewing American civilization: (1) quality; (2) technological advancement; (3) entrepreneurial free enterprise; (4) principles of American civilization; and (5) psychological strength. Based on these principles, Respondent sought to initiate a movement to replace the welfare state and renew American civilization to occur at every level of American society. Renewal would require the accomplishment of various goals including the education of the general population and creation of a majority of citizens committed to reform, thereby spawning activism; education of business leaders; and education of the media as to the ideals and concepts of renewal. In effect, Respondent sought to create a national dialogue for reform and a methodology by which citizen activists could accomplish the stated goals of the movement.
