So I'm sitting here in Jacksonville, Florida watching mittens campaign commercials (Vent ON)

And all it is is anti-Newt 24/7. All he's giving me in these campaign commercials are reasons NOT to vote for Newt, but has yet, in any commercial, in any meaningful way, to tell me why I should vote FOR him. Perhaps that's because he and Ears have far too much in common. Exposing his actual positions would confirm he's nothing more than Ears-light. We don't need that.

I may be one of those gun-totin, bible-thumpin, God-fearin, hard-workin Southern guys we hear so much about, but I ain't stupid. I don't react well to negative campaigning. All I am is one guy with one vote; and Mitt, you ain't gettin it.

Something about the correlation between flak and the target comes to mind.

Vent OFF.

The main reason I support Newt, and Paul to some extent, is that I despise the GOP-E for trying to create the impression that the GOP is unifying behind Romney. Romney is a snake that will continue Obama’s crony capitalism, but with slightly different cronies.

According to John McCain, you must be anti-Mormon.

” I just needed to get that off my chest”

What did you think of the Pro-Romney ads run by Newt? Just sayin’.

I don't watch local news (ABC, NBC or CBS) so his ads are wasted on me, but he is flooding my mail box with expensive anti-Grinchich ads. Thursday I got a big, glossy colorful one bashing Newt and Friday, another big, glossy, heavy ad promoting Mittens. I'm getting them about every day or every other day for the past 2 weeks.

The newest one on the cover has a little girl with a piggy bank that is empty and says “America cannot continue to spend our children's future...”

Inside, a really dorky picture of him and it says:

“Mitt Romney.
A conservative businessman who will restore fiscal restraint in Washington.”

Then it goes on about cutting federal spending, balancing the budget(but he fails to mention that Barry Hussein the Kenyan hasn't done a budget,(he had a chance to go after Hussein but didn't) and talks about repealing obongocare.

At the bottom “The idea of borrowing money from China for programs we don't absolutely have to have is simply bad business, bad economics, and morally wrong”.

On the back another photo of him and “It is a moral responsibility to believe in fiscal responsibility, I do”.

At least he isn't even trying pretend he's in any way shape of form conservative on social issues.

I would vote for Ron Paul before I would vote for him. He disgusts me. I'm all in for Newt. Hoping for the best, preparing for the worst and praying the yanks that screwed up their states and moved down to mine don't make Mittens the winner. If the I-4 corridor sticks with Newt, I don't think mitty will win.

In the spirit of Ronald Reagan...the Republican Party has left me...I have not left the Republican Party! The battle lines have been drawn...the GOP establishment vs the Tea Party. Pseudo liberals and moderates vs conservatives. How more plainly can it get.

One thing that must happen is that Newt must stay in to the end, embarrass Mitt by taking as many delegates as possible, and force Mitt to drain his campaign coffers. Remember how Mitt was proud he made Kennedy take a second mortgage on his house to fund his Senate campaign? Let’s keep Mitt spending heavily, which hopefully would drain his money and decrease his spending power for the general election campaign. If nothing else, the spending will be good for the economy.

Here’s a reason not to vote for Romney. Tell your fellow Floridians.

I must be watching at the wrong time cause I have yet to see a Newt ad run. Granted, I don’t watch TV all that much but when I do, it’s all mittens ads.

FryingPan101 doesn’t live in Florida, obviously. I’m in the Tampa area and television has gone anti-Newt Mitt ads 24-7. Add in the Mitt mailers and it is a tsunami. The anti-Newt money being spent in this state is at Soros levels.

I'm in Orange Park. I don't watch much American TV but I do listen to the radio and all I hear are Romney ads. I think I've heard one Gingrich ad. And Romney signs are everywhere as well.

Sometimes I think Mitt Romney was the only guy who took running for president seriously.

“According to John McCain, you must be anti-Mormon.”

PMFJI but although that would have nothing to do with MY opinion of Mittens, I am anti-mormon non-the-less.

Newt told Greta this campaign is people vs. money.

I'm with you Dawg! You just outlined why Newt wins Florida, they get it.
• The stuck on stupid vote goes Dem.
• The too lazy to give a $hï† vote goes to the Mittiot
• The moonbeam vote goes to the Pauliban
• The Holier Than Thou vote goes to Santorum
• The sane vote goes to Newt…
Thanks for taking the time to post!
