I guess I must be the only person in the world who found Ferris Bueller “resistible.” I thought the character was dishonest, manipulative, smarmy, and treated his friend like sh*t. In a real high school in the real world, that kid would have had his ass kicked on a daily basis.
John Hughes talked about the fact that he was not supposed to be a virtuous or even an all around likable character.
You aren’t the only one who thinks that. Cameron should have beat the hell out of him after destroying that (thankfully a replica) Ferrari even though Cameron was the one who kicked it in the end. If I see it on the program guide, I think the same thing every time.
Nope, your not alone.
It was all in Cameron's head. Ferris was a figment of cameron's imagination, and was the guy Cameron wished he could be. Sloan (?) was the girl he wished he could have.
He never wrecked the Ferrari and resolved to stand up to his father, because he never got out of bed.
(YIKES)
