The smaller the number of states without primary seatbelt laws becomes, the bigger the bribe NHTSA can offer each state. Thus, states which have resisted smaller bribes may sell out their constituents for larger ones. For example, Florida, which held out for years, finally succumbed when NHTSA raised their offer to $35 million. (This was a republican state legislature with that famous conservative, Mario Rubio, as Speaker). Texas, where governor Rick Perry has threatened to secede to escape the clutches of the federal dictatorship, has one of the worst seatbelt laws and one of the most vicious enforcement campaigns in the nation. So the danger is very real.

And Rubio kicks kittens and pushes old ladies down the stairs. He must, because just like Ann Coulter, he likes Romney.

Grow up.

Well, it could be as Newtie said, that Romney has basically been running for President for six years. As part of his ongoing campaign, he bribed — er, supported the campaigns of various people like Nikki Haley and Marco Rubio, knowing their support would be key when the time came round.

If he decides to do this ( VP ).. Romney to him will be his kiss of death. Conservatives and Tea Party people will not be there for him in his reelection. He best really be careful from what the grassroots are saying.

Most of those “tea party” candidates pulled a scam. They determined which way the crowd was going, jumped in front and said “Follow me!” Machiavelli would be proud.

Romney just attacked Newt with democrat talking points..
The same old proven false lies.. exposed himself..

Any that supports Myth is indeed questionable..
Romney has been fooling democrats into voting for him for years..
Currently he is fooling many republicans.. with the same weakness..

What weakness?.. Utopian delusion.. Myth is indeed a moderate.. as Newt says..
America will elect the President they deserve..

The real question IS... Is Newt AND Romney moderates telling us what we want to hear?.. Both of them..
This could be so... What to do?..

Well I’ll vote for Newt.. Paul is subject to political Tourettes.. and he drools..
and Santorum cannot “inspire”..
Paul has a good message until he has a “fit”.. then his eyes roll back..

I happened to listen to Medved this afternoon and he had Bill McCollum on as a guest. Bill is Newt’s campaign chief in Florida, and he did an absolutely terrific job of talking up Newt, defending him from scurrilous attacks, and clearing up a lot of the lies aimed at Newt. McCollum served in the House during the Gingrich years and was on a bunch of important committees. He prefaced many of his comments with, “I was there...”.

I’ll tell you, I was floored. I wanted to pull my car over and vote for Newt right there.
I have a feeling Medved was not pleased.

McCollum needs to get on with Rush. He is that good.
