Texas?

Wasn't putting down Texas...just thinking more like the deep South.

There have been some pretty serious arguments over the years whether Texas is a Southern state or a southwestern state, including my Texas relatives.

Some of them self identify as part of one or the other...I can go either way, though I think of it as more southwestern than South, mostly because of the accents and/or meal/food choices.

Texas is both Southern and South Western.

It was the greatest state in the Confederacy, just as it is the greatest state in the United States.
