Farentino was one of those actors you always saw on TV during the ‘60s and ‘70s, usually as a guest star.
Definitely one of the most recognizable faces, for me at least.

I remember him as the Argentine dictator Juan Peron in the TV docudrama “Evita” around 1981. Faye Dunaway at forty played Eva Peron which was pretty good since the real Evita died at thirty three.

RIP and a reminder to the rest of us that all life or glory is fleeting.
