Most of us have come to the understanding that Newt is the best we can get this time, but his bagage is stacked a mile high. Many good people won’t be able to accept Newt and that’s just part of the package we get with Newt. It wasn’t all that long ago that people wondered if Reagan could win with his having been divorced. Sometimes it seems like we’re surounded by Clinton supporters the way character doesn’t seem to matter anymore.
The man in the race with the worst character is Mitt Romney, it wouldn’t make sense to surrender to him.
Romney has shaped two presidential fields in a row.
Personally I cared that Clinton lied under oath and not one whit about where he put his Special Intern Cigars. I also hated that he was a lefty who appointed lefty judges.
But I don’t care if a pol sodomizes kittens for sport is he’s a reliable conservative.
