Isn’t Beck pushing Ron Paul?

He is sarcastically thanking South Carolina for giving us a candidate who has "no way in hell of winning against Obama."

Apparently he didn't hear the news over the weekend that Romney lost.

Will Beck cry on air? Enquiring minds want to know.

What happened to Beck? If you listen to him at “Restoring Honor” and you listen to Newt now, they’re both saying the same thing.

Nope, Romney.

I posted a year ago that Beck would jump on LDS Romney’s bandwagon the minute he declared but then Jon Huntsman complicated matters for him.

Huntsman pulled out, clearing the way for Beck to push his remaining co-religionist, Willard.

Was there ever any doubt that Beck would end up with Romney?

He has been trying to cover his love for former Mormon Romney.

He was just trashing Newt. I turned him off.

I thought the Mormon was endorsing the Mormon.

He’ll either cry or announce that he’s going blind or has a rare disease that must be investigated at the Mayo Clinic. What a bore!

He has been trying to cover up his “mormon” love for Romney.

He was just trashing Newt more than any liberal is capable of doing. I turned him off.

Beck even failed to Jump the Shark. He landed right in the middle of the pen. His media days are pretty much over. He only shares a small fringe of radicals like Michael Wiener/Savage.

Man, there is a lot of religious bigotry on Free Republic. I don’t recall that from when I joined. People used to debate issues, and there certainly are enough problems with Romeny to debate.

I also remember when we said charachter mattered (re: Clinton). But judging from all the pro-Newt comments, this appears to have changed, too. I guess we can rationalize anything to suit our ends.

If I had been told two years ago that a day would come when the conservative message boards were full of anger at Beck, Coulter and Steyn, I would have thought someone crazy.

Then again, I criticized Beck two years ago at American Thinker and was FLAMED ROYALLY right here at FR - and elsewhere - actually everywhere - but the Rush L Show and the Mark L show.

You asked: “Isn’t Beck pushing Ron Paul?”

Beck’s REAL agenda has always been to start a 3rd Party.

Beck: “If you Tea Party people vote for anyone other than the one I pick, you must be racists.” (paraphrased)

Glenn Beck: There’s no libertarians out there?

GLENN: “You know, I have to tell you, the answer is to get away from the two-party system because they are both progressives. Just progressive and progressive light. But they’re both progressives and they have been taking us down this road for over 100 years. And everyone says there’s no libertarians out there. There are libertarians out there, and you watch them. You watch them sometimes all the time. Judge Andrew Napolitano is one of them. Judge Napolitano from Fox, welcome...”

“I didn’t hear Beck advocating a third party..”

You “hear” one thing, and others “hear” something else.

That means that Beck hasn’t made himself crystal clear. He needs to tell people the truth - that a third party is an automatic loser, and in light of that fact, classic liberals (nka conservatives) must take the Republican party back from the Progressive liberals (Marxist-Socialists).

So far, he has used weasel words like, “unless”, as a way to equivocate, ie: “A third party will win UNLESS the Republicans and the Democrats wake up.”.

The phrase, “wake up”, has as many definitions as there are people with opinions. Of course, by using a phrase like that, he is setting himself up to be in the position to say that “they haven’t woke up enough”, and therefore we need a third party.

Unless Beck makes it crystal clear that he is distancing himself from the idea of a third party, you can be absolutely SURE that you will never hear him say: “they have woke up enough now...”. He will say just the opposite.

Glenn Beck’s third-party insanity

Beck said on Monday that he could support a third-party challenge if Republicans nominate former House Speaker Newt Gingrich to run for president against Barack Obama. “If I had a gun to my head, I’ll vote for Mitt Romney,” he explained. “If it’s Newt Gingrich, and there’s a third party, and it’s Ron Paul. … I might consider Ron Paul as a third party.”

This position is nuts. Obviously Mr. Beck needs to generate attention for his new GBTV venture since giving up his popular Fox News platform, but promoting ideas that would lead to an Obama second term is reckless and bad for America.

Make no mistake about it, a third-party presence from the right in the 2012 election would bring about conservative defeat and marginalize the movement for years. Recent history shows that splitting up a party leads to ruination for that party and its main constituent components

With the country in its current state and being goverened by a tyrannical dictator, I wouldn't care if Gingrich had 20 wives. He gets my vote. The current establishment of Republicans are about to go into full panic mode. Why? Cuz they love the current system and profit from it.
