I do think Beck supports Romney for the LDS ties, but he knows if it’s in the bag for Mitt he doesn’t have to openly support him. He is free to pretend that he really likes Santorum (unlikely to beat Mitt) while attacking “closet progressive” Newt (the one that is beating Mitt).

I completely agree with you. When Beck started "preaching" instead of informing, I stopped listening to him.
I don’t listen to beck except what I read here but that fact that he doesn’t openly support mitt doesn’t mean he doesn’t. He needs his listeners so he’s using a different strategy - I guess the world is too dumb - in his eyes - to see it. Pompous ***.
