I LIKE Newt. I’m EXCITED that Newt is coming on strong. I have said for a very long time that if he decided to run he would be a VERY hard candidate to beat. Look at how he handled the first question. His considered answer, FU&K YOU! That fulfills my first requirement for winning the big prize. You can’t play the media’s game—you have to punch back hard or they will be successful at freezing you... and then you can’t move forward because wherever you turn they’ll keep asking the same question. FU&% YOU! It makes them think twice about going back to the well again. He EMBARRASSED that guy, just like he EMBARRASSED Juan Williams, and he embarrassed that guy right at the beginning. They ought to be learning by now.

Newt is finished. The female vote will never go for him after the way he has treated the women in his life.

I think you're correct. Democratic voters don't care much about moral turpitude (I mean, look at Clinton) but Republican voters, by and large, do.

“Newt is finished. The female vote will never go for him after the way he has treated the women in his life. There has been a lot of noise about his debate performance, but underneath it all, his lack of moral integrity will do him in. First wife he cheats on and asks for divorce while she is suffering from Cancer. Second wife, he cheats on and asks first for Open Marriage and then divorce shortly after learning she has Multiple Sclerosis. This guy has the moral compass of an alley cat. Come to think of it, the Alley Cat is a peg above him.”

Does this mean Newt doesn’t get your vote?

I agree with that. I supported Newt both before and after the debate, I was just trying to be honest that I thought Santorum won it on substance. Newt certainly is the one that came out the beneficiary, however.

It simply doesn’t matter right now, sir. As a famous patriot said, you go to war with the army you’ve got, not the army you wish you had, nor the army you hope to have in the future. Right here, right now, I believe Newt has the best chance of a takedown of this communist insurgency, and the only one that has a real shot at being a great president. Even if women DON’T like him that much. I think he’s kind of cute, but then I’m not a woman, nor a homo, so I don’t know what my opinion is worth.

“Does that mean Newt doesn’t get your vote”? That’s a pretty safe bet. As a retired Military Officer, I believe in high standards of loyalty and integrity for our elected leaders. Newt flunks all the tests. If his wives couldn’t trust him, why should the nation?

That’s a pretty apt description of Ricky last evening. As I opined on another thread early this morning, Rick is from PA and I liked him, but he sees it slipping away and is beginning to sound desperate. IMHO.

He’s reminding me a bit of Bibi, who was PM before, made some concessions, some compromises, looked a little flakey, but from my perspective is magnificent now.

OTOH, having a child in the white house has made other world leaders have to grow up in a hurry.

Morris was interesting because he had inside info on Clinton.
The problem is he talks as if he is a expert on conservatism. He isn’t and Clinton is virtually irrelevant.
Espcially, since we have a radical job killing Marxist in the WH who almost makes conservatives pine for the days of Clinton.

I thought Santorum's tske down of Romney care was very good, and those who were considering voting for Romney will have to think twice before pulling the lever for him. The applause meter may have not beeh high, but I think the lingering damage will be strong.

It will be interesting to see how the SC vote goes, this is an extraordinary tipping moment for the primaries.

I don’t like Romney either, but your post is amusing. You’ve got every base covered, if things don’t go the way you think they should, it’s a conspiracy! You don’t believe the polls, and you won’t believe the vote if it doesn’t go the way you think it should. OK, you are safe, you can’t be wrong.

Got it.

I don’t see any other than Newt taking down the current admin.

He said Santorum did, and that will make Romney win the SC primary.

When dicky morris was putting forth ideas for the bent one, he was fairly accurate with his views.

Since he got caught sucking a whore's toes {for $1,500} and eventually got booted from hildabeast's lair, he has become as reliable as flipping a coin.

I don't pay any attention to his predictions.

O my goodness! I had no idea! I imagined a Baby Huey chub-a-lub sucking on his big toe.
Bwaaaaaaahaaaa! Yuk! gross! I can’t stop laughing!

Morris has been very inconsistent with his predictions this cycle for sure. He misses a ton of them.

He should relax. He’s a VERY young man in presidential terms. I think he’s done well, he got his name back out there, he WON Iowa for Pete’s sake. He should relax, keep building the connections and doing the kind of work that builds prescred (harrumph governor harrumph), and come back in four or eight. He’ll see that too, but I imagine it’s hard to see now. He thought showing well in Iowa would give him the boost in funding and visibility to ignite his campaign. It might have worked, but I think it’s Newt’s time, and note I say his time, not his turn.
