I agree. This was very blatant. I also think most people understand it for what it was. A “hit piece”.
Again, I agree with Rush (actually I posted it here first) that Drudge once again got the jump on the MSM and forced ABCs hand.
The only “ethical debate” they had was over timing, even Brian admitted that. What he didn’t say, but I suspect, is that they debated not over whether to run it tonight or not, but whether to run it before the SC primary or wait until later, whichever would do more damage to Newt.
The last thing ABC wanted was for it to dribble out piecemeal like it did.
