WASHINGTON, DC (October 31, 2011) - Downtown, DC power spot BLT Steak is now serving up juicy, mouthwatering burgers with a side of political satire from its brand new Burger Board at BLT Steak. Hosting some of DC’s most powerful politicos, BLT Steak is now offering a constantly-changing selection of creative burgers featured on the restaurant’s blackboard menu. The new lunchtime burgers will include everything from a take on the city’s famous obelisk to a burger created especially for President Obama.
Executive Chef Victor Albisu is one of the city’s most renowned grill masters and his winning Obama burger, which makes an appearance on the new Burger Board, was actually named the best in the city in Eater DC’s Obama Burger Challenge. He has created over 13 burger recipes which will rotate constantly on the Burger Board, available during lunch from 11:30 to 2:30 daily.
The creative burgers satirically tie into DC’s strong political culture and feature incredibly unique flavor combinations like the Bi Partisan made with Kobe beef, topped with Maine Lobster, White Cheddar and Black Truffle Buttermilk Dressing.

Father’s Day of 2007, we were in the lovely town of Kamiah, ID. We stumbled on to “The Hub,” a biker bar. Not being bikers, we felt a bit uncomfortable, but after they got used to our presence, they were rather friendly. They served a Porterhouse steak for $11 that was as big as a toilet seat.
