Buy some for “Gift of Caring” and the girls will send them to troops serving overseas - the troops love them! The USO at BWI is stacked full of donated cookies given to troops and families passing through.
You can buy virtually the same cookies in other places for a whole lot less.
That's what I do. My daughter is a Brownie leader, has been for 8 or so years. She takes her girls on trips, camping and has them work on service projects. I am sure she is not teaching them about sex.
As with many organizations, the top may be rotten but there still can be some good done at the local level. The troops do get money from the cookie sales, just as they always did. And there is good being done at the troop level.
