Joshua Ledet
(1st Song)

Three songs apiece tonight.

First round is Judges' Choice. They Etta James' "I'd Rather Go Blind" for Joshua.

YAH-YAH! YAH-YAH! Mantasia returns. Reaching for the mute button.

Judges will love it.

Steven: This is another Joshua moment. So surreal. Out of 70,000 there's only one American Idol, and you sang like that one tonight.

J-Lo: You are such a throw-back. We fed you what we knew you would feed back to us (screeching?)

Randy: You are such a classic stylist. Another amazing performance.

And oddly enough, the same Etta James song is used in a Kraft dressing commerical as soon as they go to break.

Evening, SJ. I will laugh if P2 gets in, despite the lavish praise the judges are heaping on Joshua.

Phillip Phillips
(2nd Song)

Are we still in Round #2? Guess so. His choice is Matchbox 20's "Disease". He falls back to his same old Dave Matthews schtick. Boring.

Steven: I feel the same way she did, it wasn't over the top. Get used to it because you never will (?)

J-Lo: I didn't feel like it was the wow performance that we need right now (the Ferlies vehemently disagree)

Randy: You guys didn't love it? This is weird. I didn't like it either. Here's why--it was such a subdued moment. You can do those in your sleep. I wanted a bigger moment. It was just okay.

Wasn’t that weird?
