I have a Kindle keyboard, but I use it more for games than reading.

I just finished books 1-4 of the Green Series by Judy Christie. Book 5 comes out shortly. I normally read thrillers and mysteries, but I enjoyed these books even though they are neither.

I'm considering purchasing a Kindle, but I'm torn between the extremes of the basic model and the Fire. What is the major advantage/benefit you found for choosing the keyboard model?
