Not to condone theft of IP, but maybe someone can now figure out what makes it darn near impossible to remove all traces of Nortons useless crapware from a PC!

Only one way I know of - you have to edit the registry. Symantec has instructions buried somewhere on their website.

I actually wound up saving all my data and files, then wiping the drive and starting over. I now use ESET which is far simpler, isn't continually broadcasting information about my computer to who-knows-who and doesn't hog resources.
