That’s horrible. Here in Tampa Bay it was 46 this am. I’m pretty sure being right by the water helps to buffer the cold snaps.
BTW, didn’t you say awhile back that Jan 15 was your spring planting day?
Sept 15th, Yes, In south FL our Spring season starts Jan 15th... I planted the corn early.. (big Mistake) but it made it... I was over preping the south 1/2 of the garden for planting watermellon this afternoon.. I also laid down a bunch of round up again.. In 3 days I will plant.. I also need to take a trip to plant store and get some more goodies for myself.. Not sure what yet.. My sister and her husband are down from MD and love the freezer full of fresh frozen veggies I saved for them..
Side note: I had some year old greenbeans in the freezer. They were sorta freezer burned from being in there so long.. I put them in with a Roast and they turned out perfect.. Who knew.. I was ready to toss them.. Yes I made Yorkishire pudding also.. It’s an english thing... Damn thing came up 6”.. Nice Puddin!
