As far as I’m concerned...legitimate complaints about the first lady can be stated well and succinctly.

I cringe when I read some of the juvenile garbage because it does reflect poorly on the people who say it.

And I know that some GOP first ladies had infantile garbage and hatred spewed at them, but it doesn’t serve us well to engage in the same behavior.

Michelle Obama has inserted herself into the body politic. IMO, Michelle Obama is fair game.

Next you'll lecture us, that we're just supposed to quietly acquiesce and not comment about anything. Not a chance. There are bounds and people here at FR are by-and-large keeping well within them.

I've read some of your own comments since you first started here on FreeRepublic. Some the comments above about Michelle Obama are very funny. Her own quote is completely accurate and the replies are mostly true and/or believable. You were never ceded authority to presume, at least by me, and so you can talk to the hand as far as I'm concerned.

I don’t believe that what I wrote was not stated well and succinctly. It certainly was not juvenile garbage. So why did you critize me? Certainly you don’t feel that if Michelle makes such a public statement that we should refrain from making our own in reply. In my opinion I feel Michelle was being very racist herself and toward herself by using the word “Black” when, according to today’s standards, we are ignore the issue of race and see her and every other black woman as just “women” without the descriptive adjective of color. Isn’t that the goal that has been set by the PC movement? So why does she not practice what she preaches? And why can’t I point out her contradiction?
