To: POWERSBOOTHEFAN
It was in the area not far from the Rio Grand where wetbacks traveled on their way to a train track. It had been there for a number of years. There were no other bones and certainly no clothes or possessions. It could have been a murder or a rattle snake bite or heat exhaustion. No way to tell who it was or what happened or even when. My husband would have given it to the land owner when he found it but he was not available at the time.

You should have called the police because it could have been a crime scene. The skull could have belonged to a missing person.

An animal could have scattered the bones,which is common. The person could have been dumped there with no clothes on.
