Yes, it is frustrating that in a country of over 300 million people this is the best we can come up with for GOP candidates. There is NOT one single candidate who stands head and shoulders above the rest, and several who should not be wasting our time by running. It is also sad that in a country such as ours we have a pretender in the White House. That we have members of congress who believe that a European style economy and social system is better than what our Founding Father's brought us. That the ability to defend one’s self, family, and home should be abandoned in favor of giving total control to the government. Frustrated? Most of us on FR feel your pain. Actually, we share you pain. I do not know who will ultimately win the GOP nomination. I know who I don't want to be the nominee, but as of right now I do not have a clear candidate I feel I can vote for. Perhaps in the next few primaries someone will emerge as a truly deserving leader. I really hope that is the case.

we could come up with brilliant candidates like we did with judge Bork...after watching this fiasco called a primary season, I can well understand why qualified people shun the whole process. The foul actions by the media and the leftists is almost overshadowed by attacks from our own side. Instead of pointing out that candidate "a" would make an O.K. president but that I, Candidate "b" would be so much better, we try to destroy the notion that candidate would even be an improvement over Obama. I Believe that it was Kennedy who ran on the concept that Republicans were OK and honest and all that, but that he, Kennedy would make a better president. We have back-biting, outright lying, mis-representation, inuendo, insults....and that's our own side...pathetic
