Taking the life of another because of a DUI should be punishable by death.

I guy I know got drunk and rolled his truck a couple years back when he had two dogs with him. The dogs weren’t hurt but they ran off because they were terrified and it wasn’t till a neighbor asked about them that someone went looking for them.
I wanted to kick his ass.
In this case I would agree. In others I’d say whatever 2nd degree murder/homicide gets you.
Look up the Carrolton Bus Crash sometime. It is the worst drunk-driving accident in US history and the guy responsible served less than twelve years. Twenty-seven were killed and thirty-four were injured, mostly teenagers (including the older sister of a classmate and friend).
