I am trying to figure out how this was video taped if it was a random dog swimming to him that had been in an accident. Good story, just curious, who video’s themself when Kayaking...

He’s probably has a video running, so if he catches a really big fish, he has proof.

Fishing is one of those things where nothing interesting will happen 99 times, but then something really cool will happen on the hundrendth.

GoPro POV cameras are all the rage. There are plenty of other brands to choose from, too.

It’s a little portable helmet cam thing. He said he uses it to video tape his catches, in case he gets a marlin or something. Yeah, pretty lame. How many times can you watch yourself in a kayak.

Why not? Video cameras have become really small, cheap, and ubiquitous, as has video storage. In one of the articles, O'Connor is quoted as saying he wanted a record in case he lands a big fish. Makes perfect sense. Video every trip and save it if something interesting happens.
