BCS Championship: Bad weather headed for New Orleans

Most of Southern Louisiana is currently covered by rain showers that are headed eastward to New Orleans.
The concern should be that by the end of the game tonight severe weather may be over the Superdome.
With all the probable drinking and celebrating, this may make for a bad combination.
It will not be Chamber of Commerce weather for this event.
This weather was on the Texas border this morning, and has been moving Eastward all day...

“Thousands of dollars for a SEAT at a GAME, but the area is still begging for sympathy and federal help!”
So wouldn't a big event like this be good for the economy there??
No one is forcing anyone to spend money to go and eat at restaurants or stay in hotels.

LOL. Why the concern? What happens inside the Superdome, stays in the Superdome. Lighten up and enjoy the game.

I never thought football could be so much fun!
Trash talking, braggadocious, obnoxious LSU fans are choking on smelly humble pie today. Locally the nasty comments have begun about ‘toothless, red-neck hicks’.
Typical, low-class LSU punk types. Those ‘hicks’ BEAT you, so I guess it doesn’t take much.
Oh- I’m going to ENJOY teasing all those purple and gold types who were in my face this weekend.
MEOW! Guess kitties don’t do well in water! LOL

Pure and simple, Alabama played a great game.
The LSU nation loves to trash talk but accept our loses like adults.
But as for you, I really hope you get over whatever issues that are challenging you.
Take care of yourself.
