Why should we breathlessly wait for them to make a proclamation? I don’t care if they ever endorse anyone. I make up my own mind.
I’d say most people here on FR tend to make up their own minds and tend to be pretty opinionated about it. Endorsements don’t matter that much to most of us.
But the typical voter isn’t like the typical FR poster. Put yourself in their shoes: They’re not going to suddenly bloom into independent-minded, critical-thinking human beings within the next month or so. So, pragmatically speaking, having endorsements from SP, RL, etc. would be pretty helpful at this particular juncture in time.
