That game took all the pain away from watching the Lions lose the night before.

In regulation, Big Ben had the last shot to go for a win. Did anyone really think he would be the beneficiary of a Hail Mary?
In overtime, I guess Demaryius showed every Doubting Thomas.

You have to love it..... Rush makes one (True) comment about Donovan McNabb, race, and the media, and they're out for blood.
But look at how nearly the entire media pile on Tebow for his religious beliefs. Talk about your double-standards and hypocrisy.

What nonsense. I guess God was taking a bathroom break when Big Ben tied the score?

Tebow has an escalator of $250,000 in his contract for each playoff win and 70 percent playtime during the requisite season, according to an NFL source. Being that he played 73 percent of the plays this season, Tebow cashed in on a quarter-million salary escalator for Sunday's 29-23 overtime victory and could earn another $250,000 with another victory Saturday night at New England against the Patriots.

re: “...God was taking a bathroom break.” That sounds very Maheresque.
Life is full of coincidences. Just enjoy the story. Well, unless you are a Steeler fan.
It is also a coincidence that the winning number in Illinois in the midday lottery the day after the 2008 election was........................ 666.
God does obviously not take sides in football games. When players pray, I suspect they are praying for inspiration and strength to be the best that they can be.

Yep the liberal MSM didn't have a problem with Cassius Clay getting converted to Islam and changing his name to Mohamed Ali and praising Allah etc after every win

I had been a critic of Tim Tebow because I felt that most of his support was NOT because he is a good QB but because he is a good Christian.
I now know that he is both and while I do not buy into the “God is helping him win” garbage, I do find it interesting that he threw for 316 yards on an average of 31.6 yards per pass.
The most common sign at football games? John “3:16.”

There are still plenty of Tebow haters here in the Denver area. Never heard that kind of criticism of Orton.

Tebow is a Christan, amoung only 30% of the people alive today the rest of the population including NFL refs hate Tebow. The possible hail marry pass was provided by Tebow haters.
