Woohoo, what a game!!

Drudge put the Tebow features up awhile ago, then after I'd gone on to bed, I wondered if someone had posted that info here -- beyond a mention on the threads, it's not. Now it is: Check out Drudge! And now I can go back to bed, community service done :o)

What a great game. When Tebow ran the ball in a pinch to make the first down, it was like old times, “GO GATORS”~!

Was it just me or did anyone else see something special with the unusual score at the end of regular play tied at 23-23?

H’mm... no (two touchdowns + three field goals?), but princess leah posted this on “TEBOW” thread:

Final Score: 29-23 Try this Bible Verse on:

Isaiah 29:23
English Standard Version (ESV)

23 For when he sees his children,
the work of my hands, in his midst,
they will sanctify my name;
they will sanctify the Holy One of Jacob
and will stand in awe of the God of Israel.

Hey cyn, long time no see!

Everything is pretty good here. Well except for all the Steeler fans who a will be crying and whining for the next few weeks, LOL!

What is REALLY cool about the Broncos beating the Steelers is that now our socialist boy mayor will have to TEBOW in public! The pics will make great political hay!

When I saw the number 23 I thought of Psalm 23 (”The Lord is My Shepherd...”) And when I saw the number 23 TWICE I really thought about Psalm 23. Maybe it IS just me.....

Psalm 29 was the appointed psalm in the Revised Common Lectionary yesterday. “Ascribe unto the Lord worship and strength. Give the Lord the honour due unto his name.”

“The Lord shall give strength unto his people. The Lord shall give his people the blessing of peace.”

Both Psalms 23 and 29 give honor to the Lord’s Power over death and evil.

It is only one game. I am very much for Tim Tebow and love his stand for God. May we all be so open with our faith. Having said that, we must be careful of putting Tim on the pedestal. This was a Denver Bronco, as in team, victory. The Drudge headline and others about Amazing Grace and magic in others are misleading in my opinion. I think Tim Tebow keeps that in perspective and so we must also. He made a good pass, but the receiver did even more to score the touchdown. It is fun though to see pundits and the media twisted in knots over this. Bill Maher is probably still cleaning his pants.

I'd love to see Tebow beat the playboy Brady too.

All the experts said Tebow couldn't pass, yet he dropped long bombs into the arms of his receivers.

Yeah he threw a several long passes right on the $$$
However I think his release is too complicated ( at least to me it seems he takes to long to get her out )but it works or maybe is is just because he is a lefty and it appears that way

But people should keep religion out of the mix

There have been great playboy QBs
Brady is one of them

And there have been great good guy QBs
Staubach was one

However the faithful to the wife professional athlete is rare and it has always been that way

Babe Ruth the greatest baseball player ever was a known good time runaround

You’re right, it wasn;t the Super Bowl, but he beat the Steelers and any day the Stoolers lose is a darned fine day in my book!

Monogamy is more difficult for jocks because they have high testosterone levels, and many are handsome chick magnets. I don’t know if they carry their faith as far as Tebow does, but there are and have been many Christian QBs: Sam Bradford, Colt McCoy, Kurt Warner, etc.

I am rooting hard for Tebow, even though I know he is not a great quarterback. That said, he had by far his best game as a pro. Just so inconsistent. I love to see the ANALysts get twisted into knots, and the liberals cry. How can you not root for this guy, even if he was a lousy steenking Gator? :)

Not sure I agree with the “stuns” headline... Denver victimized the injury-depleted Steelers’ defense for big plays several times in the game... they just got the one last big play when they needed it, after Pittsburgh failed to get close enough to win it in regulation.
