Obama is a marxist, but at this stage of his "development" he is more of a fascist than a classic socialist; though fascism definitely has elements of socialism to it. Marxism, in a nutshell, states that capitalism must yield to socialism, which must yield to what Marx preached was the ultimate good: communism. In one of my political science classes in college it was diagrammed as follows: Capitalism → Socialism → Communism \ ║ \ Fascism Fascism in Germany was based upon National Socialism, which allowed for some private enterprises to exist, but they could only exist to produce what the State (i.e., Germany) dictated, with prices set by the State, as well. German fascism was actually crony capitalism, where only those industries allowed by the government -- and under the government's control -- could exist: This is EXACTLY what Obama created with his "targeted stimulus" package and his favoritism towards "green" energy at the expense of traditional sources.

I don't know why my diagram didn't take. I'll try it again: Capitalism → Socialism → Communism \ \ Fascism
