I am a police officer in CA, and you need to recognize that it was a 21 minute CODE 3 roll. In my patrol area it takes 10 minutes to roll from from one side to the other while driving 30 mph OVER the limit. In my county we have stations where a 20 minute roll is common. Driving CODE 3 is very dangerous for the officers involved, and the public so I don’t believe they deserve this criticism. Kudos to momma for blasting that fool. Thanks...
I would hope it was a “code 3” considering what was happening. It wasn’t “criticism” but pointing out the reality. In many places the leaders and police do not want people armed and able to protect themselves, despite 20-30 minute response times.
I’ve known a couple of police officers who shared some of the expectations the public has but they have no understanding of the regulations etc. officers have to work under...let alone the overall type of citizen to contend with and what they’ll face even in what would seem a non-threatening situation.
Thank you for your service to those in your state Ariel..be safe.....
They “outlawed” high speed pursuits in WV after a cop plowed into a teenage girl and killed her whilst ripping after the perp.
That’s we should all be allowed to “conduct business” as we see fit until the cops arrive.
Safe cops.
Safe innocent bystanders.
Safe “victims”.
Dead perps.
Can’t see any downside.
