Don’t know much about the Galaxy, but bought my daughter a Fire...and find myself continuously stealing it from her. Lots of bang for the buck, easy to use, a winner in my opinion.
Check out the thrive. I like it much. It has real USB connections and a real HDMI port. Cheaper then the galaxy and more expensive then the kindle. Plus it comes with the camera in the front and back.
