They were SLIPPER socks - they have little non-skid things on the bottom. So they are supposed to be “slippers” more than socks. Essentially, she gave me (re-gifted) a $4.99 pair of slippers. They were hideous to boot. Which is likely why they were re gifted to me.

I got some of those slipper socks too when I was in the hospital! I was standing on the slippery floor when they took X-Rays of my head and neck to find out why I got a big Tylenol stuck in my throat.
