I always wanted an abyssinian but mine have all been rescues.
One rescue, found at about 4 weeks, did grow up to be ~14 inches along the back from head to tail and I thought he was big!
My dream cat! Would love an F1 Savannah Cat!

At the vet office one day (with my docile, fluff ball Ragdoll, so the opposite of a Savannal!) a patron brought in a Savanna. I was in the roon next door and I thought I was on the African plain when it let loose with a "meow"! It sounded just like a wild leopard.
If you owned one, can you imagine the look on the face of a burglar as they encountered each other? LOL
