Connie is excited until Harriet and Walter leave their party and return to the Conklin home to stay with Miss Brooks. Connie is disappointed. They tune in the radio just before midnight and Osgood Conklin is at the Jamboree ringing in the New Year. (Fame magazine poll voted Eve Arden "Best Radio Comedienne of 1949".) (29:30)

Oh, yes, I’m thinking Ed considers this a holiday show so he added an extra hour.

Did anyone do something fun last night? I just watched a movie and called it a night.

Looks like a 90 minute Gunsmoke instead of 30, and a 60 minute Lum & Abner instead of 15. Eddie Cantor signs off at midnight?
