We know far more about Romney now, and Romney’s love of Obamacare makes him a no go for conservatives.
Even though we helped regain the House for the GOP, they still want us out of the picture, so their anointed one can be coronated. Well, we shall see what happens in the primaries!

You have tweaked my curiosity as to when JR started FR. Perhaps JR or his helpers would be so obliging as to give a brief history of when and why FR was started up. I do recall the days when there was a big squabble with the New York Times and Los Angeles Times as to posting news.

Little did we know about the intrigues of the Clintons in 1993, but the murder of Vince Foster ramped it up. They are capable of anything, as we soon learned.
I feel like our country jumped the rails 20 years ago with their ascension to the national scene, and continues to today.

I remember watching that. I hadn't heard of Free Republic yet.
My wife and I came to W's inaugural, and after it was over we went to a little pub/restaurant on Wisconsin Ave close to Military Rd. and ordered a bottle of champagne to toast the end of the decade of slime (my nickname for the Clinton years).
I sure hope we can repeat that action in January of 2013!
