Per Fox, Obama is considering ordering the release of top terrorist Fasal being held at Gitmo "to facilitate the peace process" in Afghanistan. Fasal is known to be responsible for the murder of hundreds of Afghanis and is a proclaimed Al Quadda leader.

There is not 2 pennies difference between Newt and Romney - and both are terrible choices. Yes we are “fractured” - and it is because too many folks have jumped on the “compromise” train - a trait of Republicans in general for the last 15 years (or more). That is what gets us a CONgress full of RINOs who are no better than the RATs most of the time. IT is what gets us liberal judges. It is what gets us the likes of Romney and Newt as the media-ordained “frontrunners”.
And the fact that so many Freepers who are supposedly “Conservative-minded” have swallowed the Kool-Aide is mind-numbing. This is EXACTLY what the LEFT and their lapdog media whores want and have planned - they repeat over and over that Romney is the winner. Then they pump up Newt for a while. Then they pretend to give a little attention to “others” only to then crucify them (with facts and fakes). All of this to split the Republicans by making the decision for “us”.
Having King and Queen Obama soil the White House and degrade the nation is the lowest point in American history so far.
Barack continues to aid and abet our enemies and spit on America.

It’s ‘almost’ time for the American people to take things into their own hands. Writing letters to them [Congressmen/Senators] doesn’t seem to catch their attention anymore.

Knowing our Dear Leader like I/we do (and everything he does, has an ulterior motive with his eye never leaving the big "prize" i.e. his chances to get re-elected) I believe this is but a "trial baloon" to see if he can get away with it.
If successful, he will try and move all of the Terrorist from GITMO to other countries, shut it down and then can keep another of the promises he made to his rabid, Far Left base and use it as another reason to vote for him.
Also, if this works, then he can push to have any captive terrorists (even overseas) treated as "criminals" (Hey we don't have any place to hold them) and tried in civilian courts.
Prediction: He will close Gitmo by election day. He’s liquidating prisoners, even if no other country will take them.
These people back in power means women being shot in the head in soccer stadiums, little things like that.
I wonder if there's a connection between this proposed release and Joe Biden's saying a couple of weeks ago that the Taliban aren't our enemy.
You couldn’t be more wrong on most of that, but I have a heart doc appointment , so I don’t have time to point it all out.
That said, there is a world of difference between Romney and Newt.....here is one.
